Q. What if I can’t fit all my trash in the cart?

A. Place any bags to the side, at least 3 feet from the cart. Please refer to the residential section Cart Placement Info.

Q. What time does my trash need to be put out?

A. Please put trash out the night before your scheduled garbage pickup.

Q. Do you take yard waste?

A. As a separate service we do pick up yard waste for recycling to limited areas. Please call our office or see the section to find out if we are currently serving your location.

Q. Do you offer bulk trash pickup?

A. Yes. For general pricing see our bulk pickup in the Residential section. But since every situation is unique, the pricing listed on that page is a general guideline. Depending on the size of the job it may make sense to have a roll-off container delivered. Please call our office for more information.

Q. Do you offer automatic bill paying?

A. Yes, please contact our office for more information.

Q. Do you pick up in other counties?

A. We offer roll-off service in both Frederick and Washington Counties.

Q. How do I dispose of paint cans?

A. We take dried paint cans with regular trash. The best way to dry out the can is by mixing cat litter in with the remaining paint. Simply removing the lid will not fully dry the paint.

Q. How do I dispose of car batteries, tires, and oil?

A. We cannot accept these items, please contact the Frederick County Landfill for assistance at 301-694-1848.

Q. Can I pay with my credit card?

A. Yes, we accept MasterCard and Visa.

Q. Do you offer once a week or twice a week service?

A. For residential service, we offer one pickup per week. For commercial we can service from one to five times a week. Roll-off service is typically on call, but can be scheduled as well.

Q. Do you operate on the weekends?

A. We cherish our weekends to spend time with our families. When needed Saturday service can be arranged. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.
