Enclosure Requirements for Trash Removal with American Disposal Systems

In most cases, corral gates must open beyond 90 degrees to allow for not only the width of the truck but also it’s mirrors.  Gates must also have a “drop bar” or mechanism to hold door open and away from the truck and people accessing the dumpster.  Without such a drop bar, the wind can blow the gates against people and the truck, creating injury and damage.

Please note that the truck is much wider than the dumpster (see picture).
